Final Major Project

My final major project in university is a mixed media interiors pattern collection titled 'Nature's Voice'. It is inspired by the Biophilia Hypothesis as popularised by E.O. Wilson, exploring the innate attraction humans have to nature. It consists of mixed medias including slate, wood, dead stock fabric, and wallpapers. I used a multitude of processes including digital embroidery, screen printing, and laser cutting and engraving. The pieces in this collection were initially designed for public spaces but would integrate well into personal homes.
